I’m Stephen.
You can call me Murph.
Real on-set experience. Room to experiment.
I’m a Scottish–New Zealand actor based in Los Angeles and a SAG-AFTRA member. My work spans film and television, including Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, Doom Patrol and The Peripheral.
I’m also an accent specialist. I bring that experience, encouragement and a sense of humour to our work. Bring your material and a willingness to play—we’ll explore the choices that make the role yours.

Is everything online?
Yes. These are one-to-one virtual sessions. We’ll agree the video-call platform and make sure the time works for your location.
Can you help me record a self-tape?
I can coach your scene, read opposite you remotely and offer feedback as you try takes. You record the audition using your own camera or phone. Filming and editing services aren’t included.
What does a session cost?
Tell me what you need and your deadline. We’ll agree the length and fee before you book, so you know what to expect.
Do I need an audition to book?
No. You can bring a scene you’d like to explore or focus on confidence, character choices and rehearsal.
